Bangladesh set a goal of 256 runs while batting first, with to half centuries from Tanzid Hasan and Litton Das.
India, on the other hand, struck with the help of their spinners, with Kuldeep Yadav dismissing Tanzid at 51 before Ravindra Jadeja came into attack and delivered an unbelievable performance in which he gave away 38 runs in 10 overs in exchange for a couple of wickets.
Kohli blasted six boundaries and three maximums to remain undefeated and contribute to India’s triumph. After scoring a half-century against Afghanistan at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi, the Indian batting mainstay recorded his maiden tonne of the tournament. Rahul produced a wonderful knock, demonstrating his typical coolness to secure three boundaries and a single maximum to ensure India did not encounter any difficulties in reaching the objective.
