Pakistan will host New Zealand for five T20s next month, followed by T20 series in Ireland and England before the T20 World Cup begins on June 2.
The Pakistan Super League Twenty20 event concluded last week.
The PCB stated that the camp, arranged in partnership with the Pakistan Army, will focus on team building and attempt to improve the physical and mental strength of the players, “ensuring they are in the best condition to face the challenges ahead.”
“The players will undergo a comprehensive training regime tailored to elevate their fitness levels, agility, leadership, strategic thinking and overall performance on the field,” the National Football League (NFL) announced in a statement.
This is not the first time Pakistan’s top cricketers would have to attend a training camp in Kakul. In 2016, the national team, led by Misbah-ul-Haq, held a camp there before going to England for a test series.
