Arvind Disilva, also known as Aravinda de Silva, is a former Sri Lankan cricketer who is considered one of the greatest players in Sri Lankan cricket history. He was born on October 17, 1965, in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Disilva played international cricket for Sri Lanka from 1984 to 2003, during which time he established himself as one of the finest batsmen of his generation. He was known for his stylish strokeplay and his ability to play under pressure in big matches.
