In fact, Sridharan Sriram was hurt by him. He came out and launched it directly at the bowler. It struck Sriram when he extended his hand. We mistook him for chasing the ball when he crossed it and continued running towards the locker room. He realised right away that his hand was broken. He may have had two fractured fingers in the end. We all gained an understanding of MS’s striking force. Then I realised he will represent India.
