On Tuesday at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad, the Gujarat Titans defeated the Mumbai Indians by 55 runs.

However, for Hardik Pandya, it turned out to be a blessing, as he was named captain by one of the two new franchises, the Gujarat Titans. Hardik also prepaid the trust shown by management as he took his team to the IPL title in their maiden season.
In the ongoing Indian Premier League season 20–23, the Gujarat Titans are in second place in the IPL points table with 5 wins in 7 games. Even on Tuesday, they defeated the Mumbai Indians, who are five-time title holders of the IPL, by 55 runs at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad.

Talking about the match, the hearty century from Shubhman Gill set the platform for Gujarat Titans, and then brilliant performances from Abhinav Manohar and David Miller provided the finishing touch, which led GT to set a target of 207 runs at the loss of 6 wickets against Mumbai Indians. In response, the Mumbai Indians were restricted to 152 runs by the bowlers of the Gujarat Titans, which led to the victory of the Gujarat Titans by 55 runs.
