Both sides have put on impressive performances this season and are expected to do so again in this match. The Titans, who lead the points standings, have won six of their last nine games. Despite winning three straight games, they were defeated by the Delhi Capitals in their previous match. Aman Hakim Khan’s half-century helped the Capitals post 130 runs in 20 overs. The RCB are presently fourth in the points standings, having won five of their nine games this season. The Royals batted first in their final game against the Mumbai Indians, amassing 212 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs, with Yashasvi Jaiswal recording his first IPL century. The Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, chased down the mark in 19.3 overs thanks to a team batting effort, with Ravichandran Ashwin emerging as the Royals’ most successful bowler, taking two wickets for 27 runs in four overs.
RR and GT have met four times in the IPL, including the season finale last year. In three of these games, GT has come out on top. However, in their previous meeting this season, the Royals secured their first victory against GT, successfully chasing down a target of 178 runs in the final over.
