KL Rahul has stated that he will have surgery on his right thigh and has confirmed that he will miss the World Test Championship final.
“After careful consideration and consultation with the medical team, it has been determined that I will be undergoing thigh surgery soon.” In the coming weeks, I’ll be concentrating on my rehabilitation and recovery. “It’s a difficult decision to make, but I know it’s the right one to ensure a full recovery,” Rahul captioned his post.
“It hurts me deeply as team captain not to be present during this critical period.” But I’m convinced that the boys will rise to the occasion and deliver their best performance yet. I’ll be cheering for them from the sidelines with you all, watching every game. @lucknowsupergiants
