Marnus Labuschagne was caught sleeping, but his sleep was interrupted by Mohammed Siraj during the finals of India versus Australia.
A batsman who bats at number 3 needs to keep his eyes wide open during the match, but Australian player Marnus Labuschagne doesn’t believe in this theory since he was caught sleeping when opener David Warner and Usman Khawaja began the second innings of the Australia cricket team in the World Test Championship finals after team India was bowled out for 296 runs.
However his sleep was abruptly disturbed by team India player Siraj who on the very next delivery dismissed David Warner for the India’s first break through. The ball landed straight into wicked keeper KS Bharat gloves and Warner lost his wicket. The cameras immediately pan towards Labuschagne in the change room, who by then was backup on his feet, putting the protective layers on.

A better angle of the camera provided the exact picture, which showed Labuschagne being woken up by the roar of the crowd present at the oval, and he had sleepy Marnus head turned.
