Odisha Chief Minister Announces Rs 1 Crore Reward for Indian Football Team Following Intercontinental Cup Victory

On Sunday night, India defeated Lebanon 2-0 in the Intercontinental Cup final at the Kaling Stadium, thanks to skipper Sunil Chhetri’s 87th international goal and Lallianzuala Chhangte’s strike.

The Indian men’s football team has announced a financial incentive of Rs 1 crore from Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik for taking home the Hero Intercontinental Cup. India defeated Lebanon 2-0 in the Intercontinental Cup final at the Kaling Stadium on Sunday night to win the trophy. Sunil Chhetri, the team’s captain, scored his 87th goal in international play. Lallianzuala Chhangte also scored.
