Roller skaters Arayan (300m) and Deepen (1000m) won gold medals.The Indian men’s mixed 5×5 basketball team won gold, defeating Portugal 6-3. After losing to Sweden in the final on Saturday, the women’s 5×5 team settled for silver.In the men’s/mixed bronze medal match, India defeated Korea 2-0. India won gold in the women’s unified team event, defeating UAE in a topsy-turvy duel. Swaraaj Singh won silver in the men’s singles Level 5 event after losing to Tamas Torok.
India also took silver in women’s handball after losing in the final against Azerbaijan.
India will compete for gold in athletics, lawn tennis, and cycling on the last day of competition on Sunday.
The Indian contingent consists of 198 athletes and unified partners, as well as 57 coaches, who will participate in 16 sports.
