The clash between Naveen-ul-Haq and Virat Kohli was one of the most talked-about incidents of the IPL 2023.

The match between Naveen-ul-Haq and Virat Kohli was one of the most anticipated events of the IPL 2023. During a match between Afghanistan’s Naveen Kumar’s Lucknow Super Giants and Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore, the two got into a furious dispute. Later, LSG coach Gautam Gambhir became involved. Following the incident, both players’ social media messages piqued the interest of internet users. Almost every time they wrote something, admirers found a link to their furious disagreement.

On Saturday, Naveen shared a story about a lion, a tiger, and a donkey with a message. “The worst waste of time is arguing with the fool and fanatic who does not care about truth or reality, but only the victory of his beliefs and illusions,” the statement reads near the end of the film. There are others who, no matter how much evidence we provide to them, are unable to comprehend, while others are blinded by ego, animosity, and bitterness, and all they want is to be right even if they are not.”

Naveen recently spoke out about the event, claiming that Kohli provoked the fight following the match and citing the punishments meted out to the two batsmen as proof.
“He shouldn’t have said all of those things during and after the game.” I didn’t initiate the fight. “When we were shaking hands after the game, Virat Kohli started fighting,” he told BBC Pashto.
“When you look at the fines, you’ll understand who started the fight,” he added.
While Kohli was penalised his entire match money, Naveen was only fined half of it. During the conversation, the fast bowler also stated that he does not sledge until provoked by an opponent.

In general, I don’t sledge people, and even if I did, it would only be to the hitters when I was bowling because I am a bowler. I didn’t say a thing during that game. I didn’t insult anybody. Players who were present are aware of how I handled the circumstance.

When I was hitting or after the game, I never became angry. Everybody can see what I did after the game. When asked about the incident in the interview, Kohli stated, “I was only shaking hands when he (Kohli) grabbed my hand firmly and I reacted because I’m a human being too.
