Kishore Jena, a javelin thrower from Odisha, has received a monetary award from Odisha’s Chief Minister

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik awarded a Rs 25 lakh incentive for javelin star Kishore Jena, who became the first from the state to represent India in the World Athletics Championship finals in Budapest. Kishore finished fifth in the final on Sunday. He also set a new personal best of 84.77 metres.
