Jasprit Bumrah shared the news of his baby boy’s birth on Instagram.
Pacer Jasprit Bumrah and his wife Sanjana Ganesan have a newborn son. Bumrah, who took a break from his Asia Cup 2023 duties to be with his wife, announced the birth of a baby boy on Instagram with a lovely image. “Our little family has grown, and our hearts are fuller than we could have imagined!” We welcomed our baby boy, Angad Jasprit Bumrah, into the world this morning. “We are overjoyed and can’t wait to see what this new chapter of our lives brings,” Bumrah captioned the Instagram image.
Bumrah, a crucial member of the Indian cricket team, particularly with the 2017 ODI World Cup in mind, returned to international cricket after a nearly year-long absence due to a back ailment. He impressed in a T20I series against Ireland and was instantly recruited into the Indian team for the Asia Cup. Though Bumrah played in India’s first match against Pakistan, he did not bowl because the game was called off owing to continuous rain in the second half.
Later, it was revealed that Bumrah will skip the second match against Nepal because he wanted to be with his wife, Sanjana, at the birth of their child. Bumrah, on the other hand, will rejoin the Indian squad and be ready for selection starting with the Super 4 stage.
It is critical for the Indian squad to give Bumrah plenty of match practise because he remains one of the team’s most valuable assets, particularly in the race for the ODI World Cup crown.
