Will Young hit 70 runs off 80 balls, including 10 boundaries and one sixer. The Kiwis were on the verge of triumph when Young was bowled by Nasum Ahmed.
With seven wickets in hand, New Zealand needed 42 runs in 125 balls to win the match. Henry Nicholls left the pitch after completing the unfinished business of 50 runs in 86 balls, which included four boundaries and one six. As a result, the New Zealand cricket team easily defeated Bangladesh with seven wickets in hand.
