Indian archers have insured that the country would win another gold medal at the Asian Games in 2023
On Tuesday, Indian archers ushered in a golden dawn for the country at the Asian Games 2023, securing at least three medals in Compound events. In the Men’s Compound Individual event, Ojas Pravin and Abhishek Verma have set up an all-Indian final. This will be India’s first individual gold medal in archery at the Asian Games since the event’s inception. Jyoti Surekha Vennam has advanced to the finals of the women’s compound individual archery competition. Arjun Singh and Sunil Singh Salam finished third in the Men’s Canoe Double 1000m event, giving India its first medal of the day. Tejaswin Shankar of India is also vying for a gold medal in the men’s decathlon.
