Argentina finished with a total of 427 runs for the loss of just one wicket, thanks to centuries from Lucia Taylor and Albertina Galan. Chile was defeated by 364 runs after scoring only 63 in response.
In women’s T20Is, this was the first match with a score higher than 350. In the GCC Women’s T20 Championship Cup in 2022, Bahrain defeated Saudi Arabia with a score of 318/1, setting a record.
The record for the greatest individual score in a women’s T20I was also held by Deepika Rasangika of Bahrain, who scored 161 in that particular match. Argentina had broken both records.
