In the women’s compound open event, Singapore’s Alim Nur Syahidah was defeated by Sheetal Devi with a stunning archery exhibition. Alim Nur’s accuracy gave her a point advantage in the first three sets of a closely contested match. With the last two sets to come, she had a three-point advantage when the first three sets ended.
