Wasim Akram expressed dissatisfaction about several current Pakistani players accepting commentator jobs for the 2023 World Cup.

In response to criticism of the speed at which India’s Virat Kohli achieved the record 49th ODI century, Imad and Amir recently spoke up for Kohli.
“Virat Kohli considers his surroundings and strategizes every action on the pitch. He’s brilliant at run chases, knowing when to attack and when to go for a six. There’s not a better player right now, he’s a special player. It is unfair to criticise him in this way,” Wasim had stated.
“I find it incomprehensible that people are always comparing Virat Kohli to other players; such comparisons are absurd. It’s also important to take the player’s intentions into account. He was playing ball-to-ball and exerting himself during the match against Sri Lanka, Amir had stated.
