The cricket World Cup final between Australia and India began with an air show performed by the Indian Air Force’s (IAF) Suryakiran Aerobatic team over the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Suryakiran Aerobatic team members, who had also participated in a practise session on the eve of the championship, performed some exciting formations and flew above the world’s biggest cricket stadium. The Suryakiran Aerobatic Team, which was established in 1996, is made up of IAF pilots with extensive training.
When India and Australia faced off in the group stage, India won by a wide margin. India is into the final of the competition undefeated.
