Google has declared Virat Kohli to be the “most searched cricketer” in its 25-year existence.
There is no need to introduce Virat Kohli to the cricket world. When it came to cricketers, the name of Virat Kohli popped at the top of the list issued by the search engine behemoth “Google” detailing the most sought topics across its whole 25-year existence. Throughout the history of sports, some of the best cricket players have been highlighted by Google. Players like MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma, and Sachin Tendulkar are on the list. Nonetheless, in Google’s history, Kohli was the “most searched cricketer.”
But Kohli was not the most sought-after athlete on the list when it comes to searches. It was the legendary Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid and Manchester United, who plays for the Saudi Arabian team Al-Nassr at the age of 38 and still goes strong.

In addition, Ronaldo went on to triumph over some of the biggest names in the sport, most notably Lionel Messi, his bitter rival. The two have dominated the sport for roughly 15 years, and they are undoubtedly the best players of their time.
Interestingly enough, though, even Kohli is more of a Ronaldo lover than a Messi fan. The Indian cricket player has shown his admiration for the Portuguese football player in a number of interviews.
