England opener Phil Salt’s amazing form has lifted him to second on the ICC Men’s T20I batting rankings, with a career-high rating of 802. Salt was one of several players from the high-scoring West Indies vs. England T20I series in the Caribbean to benefit from the new update on Wednesday. The England opener’s scores of 119 and 38 in Trinidad took him up 18 places to a career-high rating of 802, 15 rating points ahead of Pakistan’s Mohammad Rizwan in third (787), according to the ICC.

Sarkar eclipsed Sachin Tendulkar’s 13-year record for the highest ODI score by a subcontinent player in New Zealand, defeating The Little Master’s 163* in Christchurch.
Samson batted at No. 3 and hit 108 (114) as India defended 296 in the third ODI against the Proteas in Paarl.
