In the third and final Twenty20 International of the series, India Women defeated Australia with a score of 147 for six, thanks in large part to a brilliant 34 from Richa Ghosh. India was reeling at the midway point after Shafali Verma (26) and Smriti Mandhana (29) set the tone for a commanding first-innings total, but they blew a fantastic start, losing four wickets for six runs. India started the powerplay at 51 for 1, but after dropping wickets repeatedly in 10 overs, they were reduced to 66/4. However, India added 81 runs in the second half when Ghosh’s knock gave them new energy.
