Though an official announcement is still pending, sources close to the Punjab Kings indicated that the team is considering holding its home matches at the Mullanpur stadium. Shikhar Dhawan, the captain of the team, is present at the pre-tournament training being held at Mumbai’s Brabourne Stadium.Officials from the Punjab Cricket Association are optimistic that the remaining tasks will be completed well in advance of the IPL 2024, which is set to start on March 22. The PCA had previously intended to host foreign missions in the new facility, but logistical and technical issues caused a delay.
