On January 21, the day he arrived in Hyderabad to get ready for the first IND vs. ENG Test, Virat Kohli posted his final social media message.
Virat Kohli, the great batsman and social media sensation, has officially ended his social media ban, dispelling any reports that he won’t be playing in the Test series between India and England. The BCCI had been notified by Kohli that he would not be available for selection for the opening two Test matches of the series.
Virat Kohli was prepared to play the first Test after arriving in Hyderabad on January 21. However, a dramatic turn of affairs compelled the former Indian captain to skip the two initial matches as well as leave Hyderabad.
Whether Kohli will ultimately make a comeback for the next three Test matches in the series has not been confirmed. Even though KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja were excluded from the second Test in Vizag, the Indian administration, or BCCI, has not yet released a statement on the issue.
According to this new report, the player who now leads India in Test run scoring may return to Rajkot for the third Test between IND and ENG.
