On the fourth day of the second Test match at Visakhapatnam, India trounced England by a margin of 106 runs.

On Monday, the second Test match between India and England concluded with a 106-run victory as India outperformed England in every way. In the second innings, Jasprit Bumrah and Ravichandran Ashwin bowled brilliantly to dismiss England in 69.2 overs. James Anderson, a fast bowler, was the target of social media trolling after the match for his remarks on Sunday that England would need to finish the 399-run chase in another 60–70 overs. With the exception of Ben Stokes and Zak Crawley, none of the hitters scored significantly as England began the day needing 332 runs to win, but they continued to lose wickets.

“It makes it very clear to everyone that we will try to do it tomorrow,” Anderson explained. We’ll attempt to finish the game in 60 or 70 overs, even though I know there are 180 left in the game. We play in that manner.”

After taking three wickets apiece in the last innings, Bumrah and spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who finished with 499 Test wickets, bowled Tom Hartley to seal the victory.

With his 104 on the third day, Shubman Gill laid the stage for the hosts’ dramatic victory over England, who had won the first game.

With their “Bazball” style of cricket, England came out firing, with Crawley and co smashing boundaries despite losing wickets.
