Star batsman KL Rahul of the Indian cricket team has been sidelined by injury for the last three Test matches in the current series against England.

Star batter KL Rahul of the Indian cricket team has been sidelined by injury for the last three Test matches in the current series against England. Cricbuzz reports that he might miss the last match in Dharamsala. Rahul was flown to London by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to seek an expert opinion, allegedly because he has not fully recovered from the quadriceps injury he sustained in the first Test. Though the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and team management opted to reevaluate the matter, Rahul was allegedly cleared to play in the third Test match.

For the next three games of the series, Rahul was included in the India squad, but his availability will depend on how well he recovers. The selection committee may decide to give him extra time to heal in light of the T20 World Cup, especially with India leading 3-1 in the five-match series.

Nasser Hussain, a former captain, stated on Monday that India’s team, led by Rohit Sharma, deserved to win the Test series because of their superior skill set and mental toughness, thus England shouldn’t feel bad about losing.

The fourth and penultimate Test in Ranchi saw India defeat England by five wickets to establish an unassailable 3-1 lead in the five-match series, and England suffered their first Test series defeat of the ‘Bazball’ era.

“India deserve credit for the way they’ve played throughout the series, they have been without some star names…Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah in this one, Mohammed Shami, KL Rahul for most of the series and Rishabh Pant,” Hussain posted on some news channels.

Despite a lengthy number of missing persons, India has managed to produce impressive achievements. India deserves praise for both their skill and their mental resilience in winning another home series.”There’s no shame in England losing to this Indian team because of their incredible home record.”
