Devon Conway will miss New Zealand’s first Test against Australia, which begins on Thursday (February 29) in Wellington. The left-hander is still recovering from a left thumb injury sustained during the recently finished T20I series against the same opposition. The club management has brought up Henry Nicholls as a replacement, but Will Young is expected to fill Conway’s slot at the top of the order.
