Dinesh Karthik is one of the IPL’s most seasoned wicket-keeper hitters, having played for six different clubs.As the 2024 edition of the Indian Premier League gets underway on March 22, wicketkeeper-battler Dinesh Karthik will make his final appearance in the league before deciding to retire from international cricket following the lucrative Twenty20 competition. Since 2008, the 38-year-old has participated in every IPL season since it began, missing just two games in 16 years. He is presently under contract with the Royal Challengers Bangalore. “Dinesh Karthik’s (season) final IPL will be in 2024. Under anonymity, a BCCI source told PTI that “he will decide his international retirement after the IPL.”
