Sanju Samson said in an open conversation how difficult it has been for him to establish himself on the Indian team.
Sanju Samson, a well-known cricket player in India, has had an interesting trip thus far. Samson is a mainstay of the Indian Premier League’s Rajasthan Royals, but he hasn’t exactly been able to establish himself in any of the three forms for the Indian squad. Samson was questioned about his thoughts on choosing the national team, with talk of the T20 World Cup selection rife ahead of the IPL 2024 season. With a reaction that was brutally honest, the wicket-keeper batter demonstrated how fiercely competitive the Indian team’s spots are.
Samson said in an interview with Star Sports that a Keralan like him would have to secure a berth on the Indian national squad.
“When you play cricket in the greatest nation on earth—India, which leads the globe in player count, talent, and competitions—you have to be a guy from Kerala. Samson stated to Star Sports on their program Star Nahi Far that “he needs to do something special if he wants to come and solidify his place in the national side.”
