Hardik Pandya is reportedly on vacation at an exotic location amidst rumours of divorce from wife Natasa Stankovic.

Hardik Pandya, an India all-rounder, missed the plane to New York when the Indian team’s first batch of players journeyed across continents for the T20 World Cup in 2024. Hardik’s omission from the first batch of players fueled suspicion about his personal life, with allegations circulating that everything is not well with him and his wife Natasa Stankovic. As the couple continues to remain silent on the ‘divorce rumours,’ a source claims Hardik has headed to an unidentified abroad destination for a vacation. He will join the Indian team immediately in New York.

According to Cricbuzz, Hardik left the country after the Mumbai Indians’ IPL 2024 campaign finished. Hardik decided to take a week-long holiday at an undisclosed international location to recharge after a hectic T20 league season. However, he is anticipated to join the team in time for the first New York practice session.

Hardik has been making waves ahead of the IPL 2024 season. The Mumbai Indians’ choice to replace Rohit Sharma as captain of the team did not sit well with supporters, with Hardik receiving harsh criticism in the form of jeers anytime he entered the stadium.

As a result of the hostility that permeated the Mumbai Indians camp, the club finished last in the 10-team rankings, with all-rounder Hardik proving to be subpar in all aspects of the game.

“I think a lot of what he’s going through is uncalled for. Hardik will undoubtedly have a learning curve as his leadership skills develop. While things are difficult right now, a lot of things will happen that will make him a tougher leader and will undoubtedly help him grow in the role,” Mumbai Indians coach Mark Boucher stated in a news conference following MI’s final game on May 17.

Hardik has been named the team’s vice-captain for the T20 World Cup, which will be held in the United States and the West Indies from June 1 to 29.
