Inzamam’s criticism against Indian cricket is not his first; he also accused the squad of ball tampering during the 2024 T20 World Cup.
Inzamam-ul-Haq, Pakistan’s cricket legend, has unleashed another stinging attack on Indian cricket, the BCCI, and the 2024 T20 World Cup schedule. After voicing concerns about probable ball tampering by Team India, Inzamam has now questioned the World Cup schedule, which predetermined India’s semi-final venue before the event began. Inzamam claimed it was an injustice and that Pakistan had never received such benefits. Inzamam retaliated, claiming that the lack of a reserve day for India’s semi-final was also pre-planned to benefit India.
Inzamam stated on Hungama, a show on Pakistan’s 24 News HD channel, that only the India-England game did not have a reserve day. That is because India has won all of their games and would go to the final if the game is called off.”
“There are different rules for each match!” Inzamam exclaimed.
“When Pakistan were in a strong position in the Asia Cup, we suddenly had a reserve day for just one match,” he stated, implying that India gets a favorable environment every time.
“India is currently so powerful that even England is helpless against them. “A single force controls cricket,” Inzamam remarked.
“It is not the Big Three anymore, it’s the Big One,” said he.
