Virat Kohli declared his retirement from the T20I format shortly after the championship, and Rohit Sharma soon followed.

Sanjay Manjrekar, a former India batter, shared a touching post following the team’s T20 World Cup victory. Taking to social networking platform X, Manjrekar credited captain Rohit Sharma, head coach Rahul Dravid, and chief selector Ajit Agarkar for the team’s victory in the event, which ended India’s 13-year drought for an ICC crown.
