Team India’s victory in the T20 World Cup 2024 on Saturday helped to allay the hurts from their failure in the ODI World Cup 2023 final. In the decisive game, Team India won by a margin of seven runs captained by Rohit Sharma. India had a tremendous performance and went undefeated throughout the competition. India’s triumph in the grand tournament was largely due to the impressive performances of pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who won numerous games for his team.
Every Indian camp in Bridgetown was ecstatic after winning the World Cup, and celebrations were taking place at the Kensington Oval. Bumrah’s wife, TV anchor Sanjana Ganesan, conducted her husband’s interview on the spot among the festivities.
The Indian pacer conducted herself in a professional manner and addressed every question throughout the conversation. Unable to control his feelings, Bumrah gave Sanjana a firm hug as soon as the interview was over.

Normally, it’s me who makes an effort to control my feelings so that I can concentrate on my work, but today, my emotions are taking over and I find it difficult to express myself. Usually, I don’t cry after a game, but this one feels really meaningful. We thought we were in trouble halfway through, but to pull off a victory like this is an incredible feeling. During the post-match presentation, Bumrah exclaimed, “I’m just incredibly happy.”
“I could do something special for India because my son and my family are here.” We’ve been putting a lot of effort into this, and although we were so near to failing the last time, it feels great to have succeeded this time.There’s no greater feeling than playing a sport for this, for these days, for major stages when you perform well and lead your team through,” he continued.
