Neeraj Chopra is not only a superb athlete but also a huge enthusiast of expensive vehicles and motorcycles.
In the men’s javelin throw final of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, India’s golden kid Neeraj Chopra was only able to secure a silver medal. Arshad Nadeem of Pakistan outperformed Neeraj with an Olympic record-breaking throw of 92.97 meters that stunned the whole sports community. Neeraj made history by being the only athlete from India to win two track and field medals in the same Olympic Games, even though he was unable to break the 90-meter mark at the Paris Games. Neeraj is regarded as one of the nation’s most dedicated athletes and has already brought about numerous historic achievements for the nation. However, not much is known about his private life.
Neeraj’s opulent home, his impressive collection of cars, and the Olympic connection to his Golden Retriever dog’s name were all revealed to us when news sources got in touch with his family in Panipat.
Among the most modest athletes in India, Neeraj possesses an incredible collection of cars. He owns a few of fancy bikes as well.
Neeraj’s dog, Tokyo, got its name from the city that hosted the previous Olympic Games, where the star athlete won a gold medal in throwing.Neeraj said after winning the silver medal at the Olympics that he had been competing against Arshad since 2016 and that this was the first time the Pakistani athlete had defeated him.
“Arshad gave a great performance, and I want to thank him. After the final, Neeraj remarked, “I’ve been competing with him since 2016, and this is the first time he has won while competing together.
“I’m pushing myself really hard in spite of the injuries. The gold champion from the Tokyo Olympics remarked, “The throw was good, but I still have a lot left in me, and I need to stay fit to achieve it.”
Getting to ninety meters is still one of Neeraj’s key goals. Though he was unable to reach the Paris landmark, he is still full of hope.
“While I haven’t yet succeeded in throwing a 90-meter throw, I thought that on my second try, this could be the day. I believe in myself, and I’m sure I’ll accomplish that goal eventually. “Winning a medal for your country and holding your flag is an amazing feeling,” Neeraj remarked.
“I didn’t have a very nice two or three years. I’m hurt all the time. I really tried hard, but I have to work on my injury (keeping injury-free) and technique, so I’m not performing many throws in training,” he said.
