The International Green Park stadium in Kanpur will host the second Test match between India and Bangladesh on September 27, with extensive security measures in place.

The second Test match between Bangladesh and India, which is set to begin on September 27 at the International Green Park stadium in Kanpur, has elaborate security plans in place, a senior official announced on Tuesday. Twenty Akhilesh Bhartiya Hindu Mahasabha members were the subject of a formal complaint on Monday, according to ACP Harish Chander. They were accused of planning a “havan” by blocking the road in front of the stadium in protest of the atrocities committed against Hindus in Bangladesh. The cricket teams from Bangladesh and India are expected to arrive here by Tuesday evening, and the police said they had prepared a “fool-proof” security plan for them.Harish Chander, the Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) for Kanpur, told PTI that the team has requested the deployment of a sufficient number of police officers, including senior rank officials, for the game.

He continued, “We are making sure everything is in order by going over the security arrangements and (are) confident that we will have a sufficient police force to meet the requirements.”

According to the officer, they were working together with federal and state authorities, such as the Intelligence Bureau (IB) and the state intelligence, to exchange information about potential dangers and how to appropriately address them.DCP (East) Shrawan Kumar Singh, who has been appointed the event’s nodal officer, announced that the Green Park stadium and Hotel Landmark have been split up into sectors, zones, and sub-zones, with DCP, additional DCP, and ACP level officials in charge of each.

In addition, there will be detours for traffic before the game.

Rakesh Mishra, Vikas, Atul, Jaydeep, Vikas Gupta, Prashant Dheer, Ajay Rathore, Ashish, Brajesh, and roughly ten more unnamed people were listed in the FIR.The BNS sections of 189(2) (illegal assembly), 191 (2) (rioting), 223 (disobeying an order issued by a public official), and 285 (obstruction or injury to any person in any public way) are the ones under which the FIR has been filed, he said.
