Mhambrey will work alongside current Mumbai Indians bowling coach Lasith Malinga.
The Mumbai Indians announced the return and appointment of Paras Mhambrey as bowling coach ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season.
Lasith Malinga, the current bowling coach, will collaborate with Mhambrey.
Mumbai announced on Sunday that Mahela Jayewardene, who had been Mark Boucher’s head coach, would be taking over.
Mhambrey formerly served as a coach for the Mumbai Indians, a side that had won the IPL in 2013, the Champions League T20 in 2011 and 2013, finished second in 2010 and made two more IPL playoff appearances.
The Indian men’s cricket team, which won the T20 World Cup earlier this year, had Mhambrey as their bowling coach.
