According to a source, Kirsten, who won the 2011 ODI World Cup with the Indian squad captained by MS Dhoni, is about to leave the Pakistan men’s cricket team just four months after taking over. Since Kirsten became Pakistan’s head coach for ODI and T20I, a lot has changed. Among the issues that stand out from Babar Azam’s four-month term are his comeback as captain, his resignation, and changes to the selection committee.
There have been some significant disagreements between Kirsten and the players in recent weeks, according to a report on some news sources. Although Kirsten’s recent request to name David Reid as a High-Performance coach was denied by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the board may not have had a direct influence on him to consider his future with the men’s national team.
