According to a Cricbuzz report on Monday (October 28), Laxman will take over for Gautam Gambhir, who is scheduled to fly to Australia with the Indian Test team for a five-match series against the Baggy Greens. A senior BCCI official verified to news sources that Laxman has been appointed for the series.
Next month, the Indian men’s cricket squad will travel to South Africa for the shortest format series, which begins in Durban on November 8. The following three games are scheduled for November 10, 13, and 15 at Johannesburg, Centurion, and Gqeberha, respectively.
