They say that dreams come true when you believe in your own ability to make them a reality. Rinku Singh, India’s emerging star, fulfilled his ambition of buying a house after being retained by the Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 13 crore. A photo of Rinku receiving the keys to his new home with his family is circulating on social media. Rinku purchased a magnificent property in his hometown, Aligarh, after being retained by KKR for a hefty Rs 13 crore. The southpaw was KKR’s top retention, along with Varun Chakravarthy (INR 12 crore), Sunil Narine (INR 12 crore), Andre Russell (INR 12 crore), and Ramandeep Singh (INR 4 crore).
Rinku joined the Knight Riders in 2018 for a basic price of Rs 50 lakh and has been with them ever since. He did not have enough opportunities to play in the first few seasons. However, his stature has increased since 2023. He developed as one of KKR’s strongest finishers, capable of carrying the team over the finish line in adverse conditions. Rinku demonstrated that he had the temperament to keep his cool when the chips were down.
