Neeraj Chopra, two-time Olympic medalist and great javelin thrower, is newly married. Neeraj took to Instagram on Sunday to share the news with his fans, leaving a heartfelt message. “I’m starting a new chapter in my life with my family. I am grateful for every blessing that has brought us together at this time. Neeraj captioned the post, “Bounded by love, happily ever after,” and released a series of photos on Instagram that revealed the identity of his life partner. According to Neeraj’s uncle, the athlete’s wife, Himani, is currently studying in the United States. The couple married in front of close friends and family members at a private ceremony.

Neeraj’s uncle has also revealed that the marriage will include a reception party.

On the professional level, Neeraj plans to introduce a Continental Tour Javelin-Only competition to the country. The World Athletics Federation and the Athletics Federation of India have both sponsored the upcoming event.

However, the event’s date has yet to be confirmed, with reports stating that it will take place in May of this year. The event will include some of the top men’s and women’s javelin throwers, including India’s golden kid Neeraj.

Speaking about the event, Chopra stated, “It has long been a dream of mine to organize and bring a world-class javelin competition to India.” We are making this happen thanks to JSW Sports and the Athletics Federation of India. I am confident that both my teammates and Indian fans would have an unforgettable experience. “I’m excited to see how big we can make this,” according to a JSW Sports Media announcement.

Chopra hopes to make the event an annual staple on the world athletics calendar, with plans to expand the meeting to include other track and field events.

Parth Jindal, founder of JSW Sports, said, “I’d like to congratulate the Athletics Federation of India and their leadership for this amazing opportunity to bring a world-class event to India. The AFI has done amazing work to enhance the reputation of track and field sports in the country, and their willingness to support this event reflects their efforts.”
