A period of inspiration from Parunika Sisodia earlier had India limit England to 113/8. In the final, Davina Perrin gave England a fantastic start after they decided to bat. The England batting collapse was triggered by Sisodia and Aayushi Shukla when they were 37/0 in the powerplay. In the 12th over, Shukla cleaned her up after Perrin struck 45 off 40 balls. Abi Norgrove, the captain, also reached triple figures with a score of 30 off 25 balls.Shukla took two wickets, while Sisodia and Vaishnavi Sharma took three for India.
