The Indian team that won the U19 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup for the second time in a row on Sunday at the Bayuemas Oval would receive a financial award of Rs 5 crore, according to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Under the dynamic leadership of captain Niki Prasad, the Indian team demonstrated remarkable talent, poise, and dominance, going undefeated throughout the competition. India’s fearless approach throughout the tournament led to a decisive nine-wicket victory over South Africa in the championship match.”The India Under-19 women’s team has successfully defended their championship at the ICC Under-19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 in Malaysia, and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is very proud of them for this accomplishment.
“To honour this remarkable achievement, the BCCI has announced a cash reward of INR 5 Crore for the victorious squad and support staff, led by Head Coach Nooshin Al Khadeer,” stated the BCCI in a release.

We all felt proud of them today after talking about their performances at the Naman Awards last night. With India’s top-order batsmen leading from the front and the bowling unit keeping a stranglehold, a number of players put on outstanding performances. In addition to being named Player of the Match and Player of the Tournament, G. Trisha took seven wickets and finished as the tournament’s highest-scoring player with 309 runs. The top two wicket-takers were spinners Vaishnavi Sharma and Aayushi Shukla, who each claimed 17 and 14 wickets.
