Suryakumar Yadav, India’s T20 captain, and Shivam Dube have been named to Mumbai’s 18-squad team for the Ranji Trophy quarterfinal against Haryana, which begins on February 8. Suryakumar and Dube, who featured in the recently finished India-England five-match T20I series, which the hosts won 4-1, have each played one game in Mumbai’s Ranji Trophy title defence this season. Mumbai advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Meghalaya by an innings and 456 runs, while Jammu & Kashmir also advanced from Elite Group A.
Suryakumar played for Mumbai against Maharashtra in October, but Dube was a member of the star-studded hosts’ side, which included India Test and ODI skipper Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal and lost at home to J&K last month.
