Day 3 saw its fair share of high voltage matches as Round of 16 followed the league matches. Kerala and Himachal Pradesh finished their encounter with a dramatic tie 28-28. Kerala though was knocked out in the Round of 16 as they couldn’t match an Aslam Inamdar-led Maharashtra. Meanwhile, Services started strong by beating Delhi, thanks to a Super 10 from Naveen Kumar.

Haryana, playing at home, defeated Karnataka and Rajasthan to set up a clash with Services on Day 4. Furthermore, Indian Railways became the first team to advance to the quarter-finals on Day 3 by beating Punjab 49-30.

Karnataka’s campaign was ended by neighbours Goa who extended their sublime form to win 27-40. They now face Uttar Pradesh in their next knockout.

Vijay and Rakesh added 32 points for Chandigarh, leading the team to a 27-point victory over Uttarakhand 55-28. Chandigarh then followed up with a 57-48 win against Bihar in a high-scoring match. They now face Maharashtra for a quarter-final clash.
