The World Test Championship (WTC) Final will be held at The Oval and Lord’s in 2023 and 2025, respectively, the game’s governing body ICC announced on Wednesday.
The next two WTC Finals will be held in England, it was announced at the ICC Annual General Meeting in Birmingham in July.
The ICC’s chief executive, Geoff Allardice, said in a statement: “We are delighted to be hosting the ICC World Test Championship Final at The Oval next year. The Oval has such a rich tradition and an incredible atmosphere, which is ideal for such an important fixture on the calendar.
Then, we’ll travel to Lord’s for the 2025 Final, which will serve as the ideal setting for the decisive Test.
