Tim David must play for the Men in Yellow at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, according to Australian cricket greats Adam Gilchrist and Mark Waugh, but they couldn’t agree on who he should replace.
David, displayed his elite performance with a scoring half-century in the series decisive game on sunday in Hyderabad, after only scoring 18 runs and two from the first two games of the three-match T20I series against India. 54 runs were scored by David in just 27 balls. Four sixes and two fours were added to his knock.
The two Australian legends agreed that David has already accomplished enough to be included when asked to select their finest Australia XI for the forthcoming T20 event.
