Pandya talked up the role of his family, including wife Natasha Stankovic and brother Krunal Pandya, in allowing him to focus on himself more when he was trying to make a comeback into the senior national team.

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya said he is feeling an incredibly positive vibe around him as he prepares to gear up for the World Cup in Australia. Hardik credited the support from his family and the space it gave when he was working on his comeback in the lead-up to IPL 2022.
Speaking in the lead-up to the World Cup campaign, Pandya added that he took a positive approach to all things in life even as he spent time on the sidelines due to recurring injury concerns.
Hardik Pandya is one of the leading run-getters for India in T20Is in 2022 with 436 runs in 19 matches at a strike rate of over 150. Pandya also has chipped in with the ball, more often than not, ending doubts over his fitness. Notably, Pandya hadn’t bowled for the most part of the last 2 years due to his back injury concerns.
Pandya’s peak fitness and good form has lent fine balance to the Indian T20I side in the lead-up to the T20 World Cup.
“It has to do a lot with helping myself to go back to the basics and approaching everything on a positive note. Because of that I have got peace in my life looking at the brighter side always,” Hardik told RISE Worldwide.
“I know I will have good days and bad days but the positivity comes from the hard work that I put in, which then gives me the self-belief and confidence to give it everything. And with the support of my family to always have my back, I feel a sense of complete focus and positivity around me,” he told RISE Worldwide.
