Shreyas Iyer may be the perfect captaincy choice for India, according to former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja, and the board may be excited to name him captain.
Shreyas Iyer has been in excellent form in 2022 with 1609 runs across all formats. Iyer helped India recover from a deficit in the opening Test of the just concluded Bangladesh Test series with an 87-run innings. He spared India from suffering what would have been a humiliating defeat.
In spite of these, former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja thinks Iyer will make a great leader for India, and the board would even look forward to appointing him as captain.
