“I’m pushing myself really hard in spite of the injuries. The gold champion from the Tokyo Olympics remarked, “The throw was good, but I still have a lot left in me, and I need to stay fit to achieve it.”
Getting to ninety meters is still one of Neeraj’s key goals. Though he was unable to reach the Paris landmark, he is still full of hope.
“While I haven’t yet succeeded in throwing a 90-meter throw, I thought that on my second try, this could be the day. I believe in myself, and I’m sure I’ll accomplish that goal eventually. “Winning a medal for your country and holding your flag is an amazing feeling,” Neeraj remarked.
“I didn’t have a very nice two or three years. I’m hurt all the time. I really tried hard, but I have to work on my injury (keeping injury-free) and technique, so I’m not performing many throws in training,” he said.
