Afghanistan defeated Ireland by 57 runs, win series 2-1

Afghanistan proved too powerful with bat and ball against Ireland, winning by 57 runs in Sharjah on Monday to lead the T20I series 2-1. Ibrahim Zadran’s magnificent 72 not out, backed up by Azmatullah Omarzai’s bowling, gave the hosts victory in the penultimate match of Ireland’s visit of Afghanistan.
